At LensDirect, we believe vision care should be stress-free. That’s why we make ordering simple and back it with an easy, worry-free return process and free shipping on all orders.
Processing Times
Orders typically begin processing once your prescription has been verified, which may take 1–2 business days. To speed up the process, you can upload your prescription to your account settings. Every order goes through a quality control check before shipping. Some products, especially those with custom prescriptions, may require extra time to ensure accuracy. Once your order ships, tracking details will be emailed, and you can also view your order status in your account dashboard.
- Contact Lenses: Please allow 1–2 business days for prescription verification. Once verified, most orders ship within 1–2 business days. Specialty lenses (such as toric, colored, multifocal, or high prescriptions) may require additional time.
- House Eyewear (Fordham, Delancey Street, Lolos, Diablo): 7–10 business days from receipt of prescription and PD.
- Premium Eyewear (e.g., Ray-Ban): 12–14 business days from receipt of prescription and PD.
- DIY Replacement Lenses: Most orders ship within 1–3 business days. Custom replacement lenses have the same processing time as standard lens replacement, 12-14 business days.
- Lens Replacement: 12–14 business days after receipt of prescription and PD. High prescriptions and sports frames may require extra processing time.
Cancellations & Modifications
There is a small window to make changes after placing your order. Please contact our customer support team at [email protected] as soon as possible.
- A 25% modification fee applies to lenses for eyewear and lens replacement that have already entered lab processing, as well as any cost difference for upgrades. Adjustments may extend the completion time for your order.
- Prescription Eyewear: Orders can be canceled any time before the lenses enter lab processing. Once in the lab, a 25% cancellation fee applies, as the lenses are custom-made and cannot be reused.
- Non-Prescription Eyewear: Orders can be canceled at any time before it has shipped. If the order is already being prepared for shipment, we’ll do our best to cancel it, but it’s not guaranteed.
Shipping Options
Free standard shipping is available on all orders. We offer expedited shipping at an additional charge. Once processed, orders are shipped within 1-2 business days.

We currently ship within the US, including Puerto Rico.
Lost Packages
While LensDirect cannot assume responsibility for packages once they are in transit, we’re here to help if something goes wrong. If your frames are lost in transit to us or on their way back to you, please contact our team. We’ll open an investigation to track down the package, and if it cannot be recovered, we’ll be happy to replace it with a selection from our in-house eyewear collections.
