How to install your new lenses
Before installing your new lenses into your frames, take a moment to review the instructions below. The entire process should take about two minutes.
Before installing your new lenses into your frames, take a moment to review the instructions below. The entire process should take about two minutes.
Start by identifying your frame type, then follow the corresponding steps or watch the video for a visual walkthrough.
- Plastic/acetate frames are fully enclosed and hold lenses in place with pressure.
- Wire frames use screws to secure the lenses.
- Semi-rimless frames support the lens along the top edge with a tensioned bottom.
Installing lenses into plastic frames
How to install into plastic frames
- Prepare your workspace. Grab your scratched-up sunglasses and our box. Unzip the lens pouch and take out the lenses and the cleaning cloth.
- Remove the old lenses. Hold the frame firmly and face it away from you. Press on the upper inside nasal corner of the lens until it pops out.
- Insert the new lenses. Align the new lens with the frame opening. Face the frame toward you and press the lens in, starting at the front nasal section, until it snaps into place.
- Inspect and clean. Check that the lens is seated evenly, clean it, and you're done.

How to install into wire frames
- Prepare your workspace. Grab your scratched-up sunglasses and our box. Unzip the lens pouch and take out the lenses and the cleaning cloth.
- Remove the old lenses. Locate the screws on both sides of the frame and loosen them with an optical screwdriver. Hold the frame facing away from you and press on the inside nasal corner to release the lens.
- Insert the new lenses. Align the lens with the frame. Face the frame toward you and press the lens in at the front nasal section. Tighten both screws.
- Inspect and clean. Check that the lens is seated evenly, clean it, and you're done.

How to install into Semi-rimless frames
- Prepare your workspace. Grab your scratched-up sunglasses and our box. Unzip the lens pouch and take out the lenses and the cleaning cloth.
- Remove the old lenses. Hold the frame facing toward you. Pull the lens downward from the inside nasal corner to release it.
- Insert the new lenses. Align the lens with the frame. Face the frame toward you and slide lenses up into frame.
- Inspect and clean. Confirm the lens is secure, clean it, and enjoy.
