These days, the availability of many chic designer frames has added a cool factor to wearing eyeglasses, even for individuals that don\u2019t need prescriptions. And believe it or not, there are some folks who bemoan the demise of <\/span>Family Matters<\/span><\/i> so much, they opt for a dorky \u201cUrkelesque\u201d look. Fashion aside, the following issues need to be considered when you\u2019re contemplating the <\/span>contacts vs. glasses<\/span> debate.<\/span><\/p>\n

1. When you wear glasses, it\u2019s hard to apply makeup, and when you don\u2019t wear them, you can\u2019t see what you\u2019re doing!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Wash your hands thoroughly before putting in your contacts, then apply eye makeup. That way you\u2019ll be able to see exactly where you apply it. You need to follow a few precautions so makeup residue doesn\u2019t get on your lenses. Use non-allergenic makeup, close your eyes if you use powdered eye shadow, and never apply eyeliner between your lashes and eye. 2. Glasses can easily slip off or steam up during physical activities.<\/strong><\/p>\n
